Takeuchi has three manufacturing plants and three sales offices in Japan. Overseas, the company has three local subsidiaries: Takeuchi Mfg. (U.S.), Ltd. established in the U.S. in 1979, Takeuchi Mfg. (U.K.) Ltd. established in the U.K. in 1996, and Takeuchi France S.A.S. established in France in 2000. These overseas subsidiaries serve as bases for Takeuchi's worldwide distributor network. In April 2005, the company also established its first overseas production facility at Takeuchi Qingdao Mfg. Co., Ltd., China
